Our Team

Matt founded Teachers Irrigation in the spring of 2000 after leaving the classroom and coaching field.  He is passionate about developing Teams and helping others find their goals. As an Irrigation Trainer, Matt has worked with  contractors all across the country, helping organizations develop and grow in their markets.  Matt is a Husband, father of 3 adult children, and K-9 dad to West the Water dog.  He loves outdoor activities, including sports.  You will often find him on a woody trail hiking with his buddy and best friend, West. 

Dwight started working with Teachers Irrigation in the spring of 2020 as Irrigation Technician Assistant.  His background in construction enabled Dwight to learn the trade quickly, earning his Irrigation Technician certification in the spring of 2021. Dwight is a former Missionary, serving in Honduras for more than 30 years. He has been married to Carolyn for 45 years and has 4 grandkids. Dwight is an avid pick up basketball participant on Tuesday nights at the local church.  When not playing basketball, you can find him watching the Boston Celtics while eating his favorite dessert, mint chocolate chip and Peanut butter cup ice-cream. 

David began his journey with Teachers Irrigation in the Spring of 2022.  A background in landscape management made the transition to irrigation service work easy.  David’s attention to detail and superior customer service makes him a Fan Favorite.  Also known as the “Google Goat”, David often earns the top Google review award during the season.  During the weekend or after work, you can catch David wetting a line from the bank or from his boat in search of largemouth bass, or whatever will bite.  As a chiefs season ticket holder, you will find him tailgating before every home game. 

Sean joined the team at Teachers Irrigation in the Spring of 2022.  His background in the Home Service industry has made the transition to mastering Irrigation service seamless.  Seans ability to troubleshoot irrigation issues accurately has been an asset for Teachers Irrigation and our clients.  When not tracking down pesky electrical issues in the field, you can find Sean on the campus of KU attending a football game in the fall or Allen fieldhouse during basketball season.  Sean continues to pursue his psychology degree where he hopes to work in law enforcement. 

Ben joined the Teachers Team in the fall of 2023.  Coming from a long lineage of service electrical contractors , Ben's transition into the irrigation industry will be an asset for Teachers and our clients.  His hobbies include fishing, playing guitar, and muscle cars.

Jordan started with Teachers Irrigation in the fall of 2022.  As a former Teacher, Jordan was a great fit to the team.  Managing multiple technician routes, providing prompt communication with clients, and tracking financials are just a few of the responsibilities she has.  Jordan is a stay at home home with 2 boys.  She was a collegiate athlete at Mid-America University  and still enjoys outdoor activities and eventures. 

West the Water Dog joined Teachers Irrigation Sept 8, 2020.  A certified Truck Dog, West enjoys riding to appointments and estimates.  He can be found guarding the shop and greeting Team members in the afternoon.  Favorite food is Cheese.  Hobbies include hikes at the lake, riding in the truck, and swimming.
